Meet Happy - A VGSR Family Member

We want to take the opportunity to introduce Happy -  one of the VGSR foster dogs currently looking for his forever family.  Here's his story -
Happy's name really suits him. He's a happy, friendly, outgoing boy who ended up in rescue through no fault of his own. For the first 7 years of his life, he was the beloved only pet of an older woman. When she passed away suddenly, there was no one who could really take care of Happy. He was passed around from pillar to post, from shelter to rescue, and finally was relinquished to VGSR. Happy has been in foster care with VGSR since the beginning of April, and he would really like a home of his own again.

Happy gets along with people of any age or size, and he just adores children. He is fine with other dogs as long as they are over 25 lbs. (No little white toy breeds for this guy.) He is not good with cats, bunnies, squirrels, etc. Happy has excellent house manners, but please don't try to put him in a crate. Happy loves walks and car rides, but he mostly loves just being with his person.
